Sometimes one needs that odd size for their tools, nick-nacks or other creative supplies. These are for those times and to be organised and relaxed. These pouches are a unique combination of our own (invented) stitching process and will tickle the sustainable bone in you.

Process The VHS tape used as threads is first hand-stretched with proper tension to convert them into threads for stitching. Hand-cleaned tyre tubes are prepared with punching holes manually for sewing.
Then using a strip hand-cleaned upcycled tyre tube and VHS tape thread the pieces are hand-stitched to perfect shape. For finishing and closure, the final metallic button is added for an intriguing look.

Is upcycled and sustainable what you are keen on, then these ones are the best fit. These are a combination of 2 processes. Japanese stab binding and french folding technique used in bookbinding. This Japanese stab bound books are made of 100% upcycled materials. The covers are made using waste boards and waste paper as cove jacket.

A new addition to our handmade, upcycled and recycled product range are these versatile pouches of different shape and sizes. Handmade using upcycled tyre tubes and upcycled waste wood. The diversity of size provides a choice for one’s need. One can use select a suitable size for the need of the hour.

Process The tyre tubes are hand-cleaned and prepared for a variety of shapes and sizes. Waste wood is shaped into thin strips, cleaned and finished for use with tyre tubes. These materials are put together using templates for a final finish into a multipurpose pouch.

Process

The waste tyre tubes are cleaned in a hot water bath. In the second level cleaning, we use coconut oil to weaken the hard to wash debris on the tyre tube and scrub it out. Next tyre tube patterns are cut to size. 

After the final cutting, we stuck together with the pieces and prepare the bag pieces for manual hole punching. 

The hand stitching process begins and starts to bring out the end result. With few finishing processes of adding fixtures and preparing sling and handles the bag is ready for final cleaning and packing.

These tool kits are hand-cut and made from discarded tyre tubes. These toolkits can be used for multiple types of tools and use cases like pens, hand tools of appropriate thicknesses. The kit can be rolled up and secured with an elastic that makes it easy to be carried around. The tyre tubes have a long life span and durability. These measure 24 cm X 17 cm in size.

The slots are of varies length to accommodate different thickness of tools.
